Why did we start JesusBeat.com?

JeusBeat.com was founded by Julian and Alvine Ferguson. The Lord asked us to join Him in ministry in 2015 but we were a bit surprised to say the least. We both became followers of Christ in our teenage years, and we loved the Lord with all of our hearts. In our adult years we got married and were part of a great local church where we served in children’s ministry.

Then we moved to Trinidad in 2014, and something happened that we did not expect at all. Why would the Lord ask two IT professionals with no background in leading any ministry to start one? We realized He was serious when He sent a prophet to anoint us into service after we accepted the call. So what now is our mission?

The way the Lord explained it to us is every human being comes on earth with one end of a connection cable if you will. Using that same imagery, the other end is hanging down from our Father’s heart, tailor made for each of us. What JesusBeat.com does is take each person’s cord and connect it to the one coming down from our Father in heaven. That’s it in a nutshell. We are here to connect people to their heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Once that connection is made, they become citizens of heaven and can now hear from the Lord through His word and by His Spirit. What a beautiful moment!

At JesusBeat.com, we also work together with brothers and sisters in the Lord, believers from anywhere in the world, to help bring God’s kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. That’s where the “Tap into God’s move” comes in. God is always moving, and once we are connected to Him, we will know how to move.

For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’
~Acts 17:28

As we go about spreading God’s kingdom we are firm believers that we should work with the whole body of Christ. We believe that the church is one body and should be of one heart serving the one true God. The apostle Paul said it best in 1 Corinthians 3. The whole chapter is pertinent, but here is a snippet that stands out.

‘Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. ‘
~I Corinthians 3:5-9
